About Northwest Physical Therapy

Northwest Physical Therapy has a longstanding reputation within the Azle, TX, community. Our clinic originally opened in the late 1980s, and for three decades, patients throughout our region have trusted us to help them improve their health and wellness and help restore their physical wellbeing. We are the only private practice physical therapy clinic in Azle.

Our current owner and physical therapist, Shane Wall, purchased the practice in May 2021. Shane brings over 25 years of physical therapy experience to our clinic, and is committed to providing each patient with personalized service from start to finish. The clinic’s reputation, paired with Shane’s extensive experience, makes it a clear choice when looking for physical therapists in Tarrant County.

Shane Wall

Owner, Northwest Physical Therapy

Shane Graduated from University Of Texas Medical Branch Galveston (cooperative program in El Paso) in 1997 with a Masters of Physical Therapy. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas. While at UNT he was a member of the cross country and track teams.

Since graduating from Physical Therapy School in 1997 he worked in a variety of settings: outpatient rehab, acute care/ hospital, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. The 12 years prior to taking ownership of Northwest Physical Therapy was spent working in an outpatient rehab setting in rural Texas for Comanche County Physical Therapy Services.

During this period of time, Shane worked predominantly with pre-post surgical orthopedic patients, neurologic/ stroke patients, return to work patients, patients with balance disorders, and rehab to the occasional rehab to rodeo cowboys.

Shane was raised in Azle, and graduated Azle High School in 1991. He is married to his wife Krista who is a Speech Language Pathologist. They have 3 children: Payton, Presley, and son Jaxon. Shane’s parents, Sue and Sherman Wall, are retired educators from the Azle ISD. Shane has been an avid runner since the age of eight and considers himself a run junkie. He qualified for the 2003 Ironman World Championship Triathlon.

Johnna Morris

Office Manager

Johnna has been with Northwest Physical Therapy since 2003. She works much of the day behind the scenes, but takes a great deal of pride in her job. She is a major reason for the longevity and success of Northwest Physical Therapy. Johnna was born and raised in Azle and a 1981 graduate of Azle High School. She seems to know just about everyone that walks in the door.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian Morris. Together they have three children: Bryson, Creighton, Derek and four grandkids. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids. She is a very active member at Lakeside Baptist Church.

Brooke Branson

Brooke has been with Northwest Physical Therapy since 2019. She is a 2018 graduate of Springtown High School. She wears many hats in the clinic and is one of the first people you will meet when you walk in the door. She is currently working towards becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant. When not at work Brooke enjoys hunting and fishing and traveling to Country Music Concerts.
